![]() Overall, the X games are quite flawed, but I still seem to get sucked in and dump in way more time than I should.Įdit: The performance of the Mac version is much worse than that of the Windows version, but it is playable (Mac Pro 1,1 Geforce 8800GT), you just need to turn down AA and AF and lower the render distance by one level. The controls are quite terrible, but everything can be remapped in settings. Im attempting to setup LU, Ive followed the steps to the letter: - Create clean install by downloading from steam, copying to new location, overwriting X3AP.exe with non steam version, create shortcut with -language44 at end of target - Install 001.LitcubesUniverseV1.7.1 - Install 002.LitcubesUniversePatchV1.7. It is extremely important to try to dodge enemy fire, especially when going up against capital ships, as a single shot can completely tear through the shields of anything M3 or smaller. ![]() Semi shows you how much to lead enemy ships with weapons, while on allows the guns to slightly track, so you only need to be close to the target tracker. Its a fantastic time to be a space sim gamer, because there are many solid options out there to pour hours of. Tested the stocks for 45 mins using suggested goods. On the lower left of the screen, near weapon/energy information, there is a small box that says either off, semi, or on. Corporate stock is less easy to make a quick buck from, but there doesnt seem to be a good way to make informed decisions about what to buy, so its probably riskier than setting up stations and UTs like normal. The AI was fixed for missile platforms (M7M and M8) and they can now single-handedly wipe out entire fleets. If there are no missiles, I believe it will default to attack enemies, but missiles are given the highest priority. Always have at least one turret set to missile defense. I generally don't load freighters with weapons, but I'm pretty sure they all have rear turrets. Right now however, I have Litcubes Universe installed, and Id like to use the X-Tended mod for Terran Conflict. I believe shields are automatically chosen from the freight bay. After not playing Terran Conflict for a while, I kind of want to go back and do the Terran Conflict plots (Only did one playthrough of Terran Conflict). Weapons are loaded under the "advanced" ship menu sub-menu. I don't think the turrets will do anything without a command chosen. That is where you load commands for your ship's turrets. Ship name: Class: Race: Speed: Hull: Generator: Max shields: Turrets: Hangar: Cargobay: Price: min: max: shield: laser: type: num. Here you can find technical data and specifications of space ships, compatible weapons, external view (screenshots of all ships). Under the ship menu, there is a command console. This part contains full reference information about space ships of the game 'X3 Albion Prelude'. It also doesn't really cover anything that you need to know other than flying and shooting. I know that mining was changed up to actually use the mining drill rather than ramming into asteroids like masochistic headbangers.
